>> If you use same password on other forum sites change it asap
It seems a group is after the long-time Team-Xecuter site that been Rockin' the Xbox Scene since early 2000, and were able to finally 'steal' their database and are trying to un-hash their passwords!!
Team-Xecuter has been famous for over a decade in hacking into the original Xbox and Xbox 360, and hopefully in the near future the Xbox One, but it seems someone decided to turn the tables on them and hack TX's big official support forum.
Here is official statement from TX regarding what happen:
We recently moved to a new server and stupidly left our backend open for an easy attack which has now been fixed.
Luckily the guys who gained access left their muddy prints all over the place so it was easy to clean up. What we did find out was more interesting. Who did it, why they did it.
If you want a quality hack, use someone who isn't going to leave their signature all over the place and take 5 minutes to find out who they are and have half their team rat out the other half. In short - don't hire these guys for the job: http://xbl.services http://refaced.org
For the last 12 years our community of 282,000+ members have always had the security of knowing that we have never used their information for any purpose other than to be part of the Xecuter community. You will now be pleased to hear these group of hackers tried to steal the accounts to various high level staff and admin of the se7ensins community, who are also part of the Xecuter community, so they came in to grab our entire database. Hackers have been trying to do this for years and this weekend succeeded due to a stupid failure on our part to button up a few holes in our backed after we moved to a new server, making it easier for lesser skilled individuals.
If you have an account with us you can now assume that your email and password is now in their possession. We highly recommend you change your password here on the Xecuter forums and if you use the password anywhere else that you change it too - there is a maximum probability that it is now, or will be in the very near future compromised. No passwords are stored in clear text of course, they are all hashed but we are very skilled in this area and know there are ways around this so we can only assume they know the same tricks that we do so it is only a matter of time. These guys attempted to install a crappy keylogger too, it didn't work of course, it was a mess so no worries there.
We're not sure who to reach out to at se7ensins but i'm sure this will no doubt reach their ears in good time.
We are reporting this news since alot of Xbox and Xbox 360'ers use our forum site, and just might have similar passwords out there, and as warning to other website admins that run similar 'scene' sites keep an eye out for this horrible group of messy bad hackers.
The XBOne dominated Black Friday sales, according to market-research firm InfoScout. Microsoft’s latest system made up 53 percent of all console sales on one of the biggest shopping days of the year.
It most likely will be a few weeks before we get official sales tracking info on what console did the most sales over the American Thanksgiving long weekend, famously called Black Friday / Cyber Monday, but one market research firm is claiming the Microsoft Xbox One came out as the King of Hill for holiday sales so far.
The Xbox One was on sale for $330 at a number of big stores like Target and Walmart, and Microsoft bundled it with big games like Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Unity. That helped gamers choose the Xbox One over the PlayStation 4, which was $400 bundled with Bungie's sci-fi shooter Destiny or with the rereleases of Grand Theft Auto V and The Last of Us.
They claim XB1 got 53% of the Black Friday sales, compare to 31% for Sony's PS4, and leaving 16% to other consoles.
As shown in the picture above from InfoScout, the poor Nintendo Wii U come in losing Fourth place below Microsoft's older Xbox 360.

RGH2 (phat) firmware for X360ACE released
>> Nice update for RGH'ing the Phat Xbox360's consoles by 15432
15432 over at hackfaq.net has released custom firmwares in XSVF format for X360ACE v1/v2 to support RGH2 in fat Xbox 360 consoles. The firmware files can be flashed via JTAG interface.
ModRobert over at EurAsia is reporting that 15432 has released a nice update for the X360ACE glitch'ing chips that are very affordable let via stable, so now with this custom firmware you be able to easy RGH your Phat Xbox 360 console.
Here is the translated tutorial from HackFAQ posted by 15432 in Russian:
For about a month I have been working on the launch of the chip RGH2 x360ace. Finally, everything is ready for release!
For fun, try to arrange an article in the form of FAQ
Q: Why now? RGH2 on veils was for a long time! A: Cheap and powerful chips x360ace appeared relatively recently. Besides, I was impressed this video Indicating that stable RGH2 on fatkah possible.
Q: The video and so x360ace, why do something different? A: Unfortunately, the author has not posted any code or xsvf files. I had to do everything myself
Q: How quickly start? A: In my console - in the region of 4 cycles. But I did not even try to optimize starts by moving the wires and other magic. I'm sure you can do better.
Q: Faster than CR4? A: No, not faster. Using ECC CR4 images can be reduced to the time of one cycle, but stability at start up CR4.
Q: What console are supported? A: Judging by the reviews on Falcon and Jasper works. When will I Zephyr and Xenon - and for them to do
Q: Where can I download ?? A: Set the firmware available here Source code posted on GitHub
Q: The most important question. How to install? A: For starters, you need to find x360ace v1 or v2:
You can buy them on the ebay or aliexpress. With a price of $ 2 - $ 10 apiece, a fake bump difficult because almost nobody forges.
Then find what they ask. XSVF files are supported by programmers as Super NAND Flasher, NAND-X and JR-Programmer If zamorochitsya separately, can be written through Squirt 360 flasher and even after MTX SPI Flasher. But still recommend something from above. Contact us to write firmware are on the opposite side of the chip:
Next you need to solder them to the console. Points marked similarly TX Coolrunner, problems should arise. Use your favorite laying wires, then I will tell you how to find the appropriate firmware file. The only thing that requires change is the chip power. Need to unsolder and solder the diode at that point postings with 1.8V:
1.8V to take from here:
So. Now the most interesting - how to choose the firmware. important note. if the chip is already soldered to the console before the firmware you want to paste the power to Xbox!
Firmware files are named according to the principle l x _s y, where x - pulse length, y - the start point.
Diode chip flashes to the beat of the bus post_out, it will help to choose the right firmware without logic analyzer.
Most importantly - find the pulse length is the main problem RGH2. It's simple, but the sign for more info:
write l6_s5.xsvf, look at the behavior of the LED.
most likely for one cycle you will see a lot of small pulses and one of Authenticity ("long" cycle). This means that the pulse length is too small.
take the firmware with more length, for example l7_s5.xsvf, again, look at the diode.
continue to increase the length, until there are only cycles of short pulses blinking ("short" cycle).
Finally, you need to choose a length, when there are "short" and "long" cycles interspersed.
If not, then select the minimum length of a short cycle.
Once decided on the length, select the time of discharge, it is easier - to sort out all 4 options.
In general, I have triggered flash l7_s6 and l7_s7. Startups are not perfect, sometimes up to 15 cycles comes, but I'm not trying to change the styling.
Who are interested, here's a video, shot in the dark 7 on the video starts, 1, 1, 1, 1, 8, 1, 2, 2, 11 We'll see both long and short flashes when trying to start, but nothing more to be seen)

ModChipCentral Presents Team-Xecuter CyberMonday
>> Get great deals from MCC for all your Xbox 360 modding needs!
Even tho the Xbox One is out, the 360 console is still going to be hot-seller this Holiday and best of all the 360 is fully moddable, and MCC has you covered with the latest cool Team-Xecuter gadgets!
Team-Xecuter has been rocking' the Xbox scene for over a decade now, they have been a trusted brand when it comes to modding your Microsoft Xbox gaming consoles, and so has ModChipCentral they been a trusted reseller and supporter of the video gaming modding scene for just as long, and are offering up great deals for your Holiday shopping this season, along with discount codes for more deals on TX products.
Here is sample of some of latest cool TX gadgets you can order from MCC today:
>> Xbox 360's with 500GB and FIFA 15 pack are incompatible with RGH
Seems Microsoft has released a new Corona motherboard layout that is using a smaller die and new traces and Nand setup, as such it is currently not possible to RGH (mod) these new Xbox 360 consoles!
Looks like Microsoft is still improving the Xbox 360 console, releasing yet another new model, and because it is new PCB layout with a smaller die chipset, it is sadly incompatible with the current RGH hacking setups, leaving those buying these new Xbox 360 consoles unable to mod them correctly.
"KonzolozZ over at team-xecuter.com has posted info about a new Xbox 360 Corona motherboard bundled as 500GB + Fifa 15 Pack which is incompatible with RGH. Various observations from the forum post: The CGPU is without IHS, and the type is: 4672991 D-A3;X888841-001. Featuring SKhynix or ST NAND Samsung K4J10324KG-HC14 NAND flash. These are the new 500 GB consoles, the MFR DATE 2014.08.14; LOT NO./DATE: 1436X. The NAND is readable and writeable, after writing ECC it gives 0010 secondary error. The post_out fix adapter doesn't fit."
But don't worry, Team-Xecuter says they will have one of these new models tomorrow, and 15432 is already looking at the new Nand dumps, so it might not be long before you be able to RGH these new boxes, all tho for sure you will need a new post_out fix adapter, and I guess this means CR4 will be delayed a bit more again by TX until these new Corona models are sorted out by everyone.
>> In United States this map shows, Xbox One on the coasts, PlayStation 4 in the heartland.
PlayStation 4 sold 7 million units to date, putting it well ahead of Xbox One’s 3 million units, but for some reason Microsoft’s console is winning the popularity contest on Facebook.
Microsoft may not be selling great numbers in the USA, but they are winning the 'social network' war, by getting more 'Likes' on Facebook then their next-gen rival PlayStation 4.
According to a tally of "likes" among Facebook users in the United States conducted by the Movoto Real Estate Blog, the Xbox One is the most popular console in 22 states, compared to the PS4, which is the most popular console in 19 states. Nine states resulted in a tie, probably because of the way Facebook rounds-off audience estimates. The Wii U was in the running, but didn't earn more than half the "likes" of either Xbox One or PS4 in any state.
As you can see in the map above, Xbox One is more popular on the coasts and most populated states, while PS4 is more popular in the heartland. According to Movoto, Nevada also had the biggest fan base for both consoles, while Mississippi had the smallest fan base for both.
As you've probably already guessed, this doesn't actually mean a whole lot to either company, most of all because the Facebook data doesn't reflect actual sales figures. If anything, it might suggest that Xbox One fans are more active Facebook users, or that Microsoft has done more to promote it on that social network.
So what do you think is reasons that XB1 has more 'social' likes then the PS4 even tho the actual sales figures paint a different picture?
>> The recently released XBOX One External Storage Device Converter has now been updated by author 'Angerwound' to version 1.1 with lots more useful features, here is the full changelog:
*Changes* - Ability for creation of new storage devices allowing people without the June System Preview update to make use of external storage! - Ability for USB 2.0 drives to be used with the console. - Capability to create and utilize multiple partitions on a single drive for use with the XBOX One.
Overview: This application will make a hard drive used for XBOX One External Storage (released in the June System Update); recognizable to a PC for read/write of the data. It will also allow you the ability to create an XBOX One External Storage device right from the application. This allows people without the June Preview Update to utilize External Storage capabilities in the latest Public System Update.
Note: This application requires Administrator privileges on execution otherwise it may state "No storage devices found".
Usage: (Enable read/write of XBOX One External Storage Device) 1) Plug in your XBOX One external storage device into your PC after it has been formatted for use on your console. 2) Open the application and choose "SCAN". 3) Your device should be listed. Right click and choose "Enable PC Mode". 4) Choose scan again; and you should see that your device is now in PC Mode. 5) Disconnect/Reconnect your drive and Windows should now mount the drive allowing you to read/write the files stored by the console. You could also do a refresh in Disk Management instead of disconnect/reconnect.
When you are ready to return the device to your console: 1) Open the application and do a scan. 2) Choose your device, right click and "Enable XBOX Mode". **This needs to be done before your console will recognize the drive. If you forget to do this; your console will ask to reformat it (losing all your data).
Usage: (Create a new XBOX One External Storage Device) 1) Plug in a USB 3.0 enabled Disk Drive into your PC. 2) Format the drive so that it is visible to your PC in a logical drive format (NTFS, FAT, etc). 3) Choose "Create XBOX Drive". 4) Select the drive. 5) Continue through the warnings. 6) Drive should show up in the list. 7) Plug your drive into your XBOX One console and enjoy External Storage capabilities. (Preview update or not!)
Usage: (Create a new XBOX One External Storage Device With Multiple Partitions) 1) Plugin a USB 3.0 enabled Disk Drive into your PC. 2) Using Disk Management in windows; create multiple NTFS partitions of varying sizes on the drive. 3) Open the application and choose SCAN. 4) Choose the drive you partitioned appropriately. 5) Right click and "Enable XBOX Mode" 6) Plug drive into XBOX One. The console will see multiple drives/partitions for use with storage.
*WARNING* This application scans and makes modifications to the MBR of the drive. I take no responsibility for any damage done to the device or loss of data caused by utilizing this application. This has been tested on only a handful of drives; so there could be issues. Use at your own risk.
*NOTES* - If you do not have the June Preview Update you can still utilize external storage capabilities. Your console will recognize the device and use it for storage if you are out of space on your internal drive. However, you will not have the capabilities to transfer files from Internal -> External and vice versa that the June update provides until it is released to the public.
- USB 2.0 devices can also be utilized but will not be recognized straight away. In an odd workaround; if you plugin a USB 3.0 enabled XBOX One External Drive into your console; and then plugin a USB 2.0 enabled one - the console will utilize the USB 2.0 drive.
>> Neat PC Utility in advance of big June XB1 Update
Coming in June is major Xbox One dashboard update, and with it comes the feature of 'External Storage' but the drives are reformatted for XB1 use only, with this utility you can switch back and forth.
One problem with the upcoming XB1 external storage feature is that it reformats your USB HDD to its own format system.
With this cool new PC utility you can switch your drive back to access the stored data on your PC and switch to back to XBOX mode.

>> No more Kinect, Only $399 Now, and No more paywall for 'streaming' apps like NetFlix
Just weeks before E3, Microsoft has done another huge 180 on their Xbox One Marketing plans, by dumping Kinect finally, and removing Xbox Live Gold from its apps, and dropping the price to $399 & more
Lots of people are wondering why Microsoft didn't wait until E3 for their big Press Conference to announce the huge changes to Xbox One , so they could hype up the 'listen to consumers' on stage and rape in all the free mainstream press coverage, but instead they decided to silently leak out the huge changes via MajorNelson and other blogs, and they are big ones.
No More Kinect.
Xbox One to be only $399 Now.
And no more paywall for Netflix, Twitch and other key apps, all FREE now.
Besides the above there is bunch of other changes listed below, and it seems M$ wants to remove that growing gap between their rival PS4, and even tho E3 is 5 weeks away, they can't afford to wait and allow that gap to get any bigger, and now going all-in to win this next-gen console war, with E3 being solely focused on their huge exclusive line-up of new games due to be release thru-out 2014/15.
Here is what Major Nelson said about the sudden changes to Xbox One:
First, beginning on June 9th, in all markets where Xbox One is sold, we will offer Xbox One starting at $399*. This is a new console option that does not include Kinect. For $399, our new Xbox One offering will continue to deliver access to the best blockbuster games like "Titanfall," "Call of Duty: Ghosts," "Forza Motorsport 5," "Dead Rising 3," and the upcoming "Watch Dogs," "Destiny" and "Sunset Overdrive." You will also be able to access popular entertainment apps, such as Twitch, YouTube, and Netflix, as well as watch live TV and use OneGuide. Finally, you will continue to be able to use many of the unique features of Xbox One including the ability to get game invites while you watch TV, switch between games and entertainment apps, enjoy Twitch broadcasts, and upload your favorite gaming moments.
Next, we're bringing more value to our Xbox Live Gold members while extending the entertainment experiences available through Xbox to every connected console. So, also starting in June, we will roll out a new set of benefits for our Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox One and we will offer anyone who owns an Xbox 360 or Xbox One access to popular games and entertainment apps without an Xbox Live Gold membership. Here is what you can expect from the new generation of Xbox Live:
Free games with Games with Gold**. Since Games with Gold launched on Xbox 360 a year ago, over 12 million people have enjoyed great free games, resulting in nearly 200 million hours of free fun playing Games with Gold titles. We've been learning from your feedback and have focused on making improvements each month to the selection of titles. To celebrate the one-year anniversary of Games with Gold for Xbox 360 and as a thank you for helping shape this program, members will receive an additional free Xbox 360 game in June. The Games with Gold titles for Xbox 360 in June are "Dark Souls," "Charlie Murder" and a bonus game of "Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition."
We're pleased to bring Games with Gold to Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox One in June. Members will have subscription-based access to free games ranging from top hits to breaking indie stars. The program will launch on Xbox One with "Max: The Curse of Brotherhood" and "Halo: Spartan Assault." A single Gold membership will get you access to the free games for both Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Exclusive Discounts. Deals with Gold will also launch for Xbox One in June, delivering discounts for great games each month, with significant savings for Xbox Live Gold members. The first titles offered in June will include "Forza Motorsport 5," "Ryse: Son of Rome," and a few other surprises. This program will continue to be available for Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox 360. And new on Xbox One, we will launch a virtual VIP room exclusive to Xbox Live Gold members where we will feature free games, monthly deals, and other great benefits.
Popular entertainment apps will be available for all Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners. Xbox 360 has been a leader in delivering entertainment experiences for years, with over 170 global entertainment apps and experiences available today. We're constantly adding new partners and experiences to the growing catalog on Xbox One. Coming in June, anyone with an Xbox will be able to access popular entertainment experiences - whether or not you have an Xbox Live Gold membership. This includes great gaming apps like Machinima, Twitch and Upload, popular video services like Netflix, Univision Deportes, GoPro, Redbull and HBO Go, sports experiences like the NFL app for Xbox One, MLB.tv, NBA Game Time, NHL Game Center and more.*** Microsoft experiences including Internet Explorer, Skype, OneDrive and OneGuide will also be available to all Xbox customers.**** You can find a full list of apps and features that will be available below and here.
We've heard that you want more choices from Xbox One. You want a wide variety of options in your games and entertainment experiences and you also want options in your hardware selection.
To be clear, as we introduce this new Xbox One console option, Kinect remains an important part of our vision. Many of you are using Kinect for Xbox One every day. In fact, more than 80 percent of you are actively using Kinect, with an average of 120 voice commands per month on each console. Some of the most popular voice commands include "Xbox On," "Xbox Broadcast" and "Xbox Record That." We will continue to offer a premium Xbox One with Kinect bundle to deliver voice and gesture controls, biometric sign-in, instant personalization, instant scanning of QR codes, and enhanced features only available with Kinect in games such as "Kinect Sports Rivals," "Just Dance 2014," "Project Spark" and more.
Major Nelson ends his blog post, with the fact that Kinect will be available soon by itself for those that wish to jump into the Kinect experience this Fall after seeing the awesome power of Xbox One console by itself, without the game enhancing power of Kinect.
So what do you think about the sudden changes, and doing it a month before E3, will it make Xbox the winner over PlayStation?
A blogger has published what he claims is the full breadth of Microsoft's plans for the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June. To sum up the big leak, let's just say there will be a lot of games!
We had the big Sony E3 leak a few days ago, and around the same time we missed the news of a blogger leaking the Microsoft E3 plans, and here it is, and looks like it will be packed with ton of games for the Xbox One:
On the DL.
This info comes from the highest source and contains near full details of Microsoft E3 2014 conference.
I have had corroborations from a number of sources to its legitimacy:
Ryse 2 is in development and will be announced at the show in a real-time in-game trailer. Gone is the Roman period, enter the medieval setting. The game will offer more freedom of exploration and a refined combat system. The main character is a sell-sword of sorts with a greater destiny. This game looks beyond belief. No release date (possibly late 2016)
Forza Horizon 2 will be announced for release in October 2014 vai Playground Games. It will once again be open world and set in Louisiana, Missisips, New Mexico, Texas and Arkansas. Full day/night cycle, real time weather. Estimated 80 hour single player.
343 Industries will unveil Halo 2: Anniversary. This is a full (multiplayer included) visual makeover of Halo 2, it will also include the same options as Halo Anniversary (Including both visual modes) skulls etc. It will include the E3 2003 mission as a bonus unlockable and the maps from the PC version.
No Turn 10 this year except in supportive capacity of Playground.
Halo 5 will get its release date.
Rare is prepping a re-boot of Battletoads and Perfect Dark. BT will initially be a download only title (see Killer Instinct) and is set to run at 60fps. Perfect Dark is looking to be rebooted into a Third Person Adventure game - Similar to Uncharted.
Epic will be there to unveil their new game base on the Samaritan demo from 2012. This will be XBOX ONE EXCLUSIVE as Microsoft is the publisher. Possibly the best looking game of this generation.
Good Science Studios will unveil their Kinect Only game "EchoBlack" - The game is controlled via the use of Kinect and the player plots through an adventure game drawn as by echolocation. The vibrancy of the world depicted alters depending on the pitch, loudness and location of the players voice. No release date.
Twisted Pixel will reveal their next digital game which is set in a sci-fantasy planet of Dekelsus. Possibly a 2.5D platformer.
Black Tusk will have a CGI trailer for Gears of War : Lazurus which will show the direction the series is heading.
Lift London will be showing 2 projects. They are small and digital based. No other details unfortunately.
Lionhead will have a brief gameplay of Fable Legends and bow out with a teaser of their next project which is set in a post-cataclysmic Earth decimated by egg shaped objects (possibly aliens)
Frontier Development is working on a family friendly Kinect title for release in 2014
Phantom Dust : Sacrifice is being worked on by Grounding Inc and will be a prequel to the original. The game will be episodic in nature.
Quantum Break will be out November 2014 - There is a multiplayer mode - Part 1 of a trilogy. The game has had a significant graphical upgrade since last year.
Sunset Overdrive is aiming for release on the last weeks of August/Early September. Graphically it looks like the CG trailer and the Parkour element of the game is a mix of Sonic, Jet Set Radio and Ratchet and Clank.
The secret Japanese game is coming from Platinum Games and is a Viewtiful Joe like action- beat em up. Codename is "RugPuddle". This is part one of a multiple game deal with Microsoft to publish other titles in the future.
Leap Experience Pioneers will announce their game which looks like a TPS/RPG hybrid set in a Sci-fi universe. Looks very Mass Effect inspired. COMING 2015
Platform Next Games is a new studio. They will be presenting an unnamed tech demo based on an upcoming project (similar to Black Tusks demo last year) which appears to be set in either an ancient or fantasy setting.
Games With Gold will be announced for Xbox One starting immediately. The aim is that it will be 1 retail game a month, 1 digital game per month of a choice of 2. This will evolve as time goes on.
Microsoft will announce the date when retail units can be activated as development kits, it will be before October 2014.
Crackdown: Skyline - Coming 2015 - No other info, not even the developer. Microsoft Studios.
Multi-platforms are as follows:
The Division (Xbox One is now lead platform)
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
EA game (not specified here)
Exclusive/Timed DLC on all.
So what do you think, will this 'leak' become true, and if so is this list of games enough to make you jump into Xbox One gaming?
>> But division is 'not as obvious as you might think'
Gates as second-largest shareholder of Microsoft, absolutely supports the new CEO if it wants to spinoff the 'Xbox' division, but he points out in his interview with Fox it is not as easy as you think
Bill Gates was very open on his thoughts of 'spinning' off the Xbox Gaming side of company he founded, as he gave an interview with Fox over the changes his company is going thru now as the new CEO takes his old Microsoft company into new directions and is working hard to rebuild their Empire in the ever-changing landscape of technology frontier.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates would support CEO Satya Nadella if he wanted to spinoff the company's Xbox division, Gates said in a recent interview with Fox Business Network.
In response to questions about separating Bing and the Xbox division, and acknowledging that Microsoft has spun off products like Expedia and Slate, Gates said that separating Microsoft's Xbox gaming division from gaming as a whole at Microsoft isn't necessarily an "obvious" move.
"Well, we're taking PC gaming - Windows gaming - and Xbox gaming and bringing those a lot closer together," Gates said. "The power of the PC graphics chips means you can do great games there. So I'm sure Satya and the team will look at that, and, you know, it's up to them. But we're going to have an overall gaming strategy, so it's not as obvious as you might think."
Interviewer Liz Claman then asked Gates if he would support Nadella if he wanted to spin off the Xbox division.
"Absolutely," he said.
Earlier this year, The Washington Post reported that two "influential Microsoft shareholders" were pushing the company to abandon what they deem as non-essential efforts at the company, including the Bing search engine and the Xbox division. In a SXSW Gaming panel in March, Microsoft Game Studios head Phil Spencer said he'd had "explicit conversations with [Nadella and former Xbox divsision head Stephen Elop] about Microsoft's commitment to Xbox - they're extremely committed to Xbox."
Microsoft's board of directors named Nadella as its new CEO in early February. Gates also transitioned from his former role as chairman to a new role in which he will be "supporting Nadella in shaping technology and product direction."
So what do you think, could Microsoft figure out a way to spinoff 'Xbox' gaming side of company while still keeping 'Windows PC and Mobile Gaming' intact, or would some all 'gaming type company be somehow created, and do you think the new CEO is actually thinking about this, as so far his own thoughts on Microsoft is that it should get back to its business roots and focus on new frontier called Cloud-Computing, so that might mean in long road ahead spinning off 'Xbox' would be in cards so that Microsoft can be totally 'Business/Cloud' focused.
>> The problem with Internet today is so easy to spread misinformation
Sadly the recent breaking news story of the Xbox One console being hacked already to run 'homebrew' was FALSE and full of 'misinformation' and many scene sites have posted even more misinformation
Recently, we posted an Xbox One Hacking story which we found on another normally good news site, but we quickly pulled it after we check the original sources and people involved and found it to be filled with misinformation and false facts in regard to the XB1 console and exploit.
Here is a recent forum post made by one of those mentioned on the 'other sites' that was quoted in the chat log out of context:
Since the original site posted the pastebin of supposed conversation from #xbonehack of efnet of me talking about the implied acquisition of private keys I have tried as hard as possible to get that site, along with others to remove the rumors. As you might have seen, others had confirmed this conversation did not exist in said channel.
I feel it is necessary now to post that the information in those logs was in fact misinformation, unfortunately out of context and misleading.
There is no current xbone exploit, or keys found, or anything that I am aware of.
Please disregard all rumors regarding this information. I am politely asking all sites who have posted these rumors to please remove the news posts as the information is false.
We agree with the above poster, and hope other sites reading this will add an disclaimer to their Xbox One Hacking Story or remove it totally, and help stop spreading more misinformation on the Internet, just because one site quotes the other does not make it true!
>> Empire Xboner's are falling behind rapidly, with the Rebel PS4 over 2 million in sales in the latest chapter of the Console Wars
Microsoft was happy to announce that their Xbox One next-gen console, is now pass the 5 million mark, and that their new Titanfall game was the #1 selling game in March, helping them to sell more XB1s
No good news this morning from the front line fighters on the Empire side, as it seems the Rebels are winning in the Console Wars.
Microsoft says it has sold more than 5 million Xbox One consoles to retailers since launch, according to an update from Yusuf Mehdi, Xbox corporate vice president of marketing, strategy and business.
Citing NPD Data, Microsoft said it sold an estimated 311,000 Xbox One consoles in March. During the same month, Titanfall for Xbox One was the number one selling game in the United States, according to NPD estimates, though sales figures for Respawn Entertainment's first-person shooter were not provided.
A key distinction between the two sales numbers is that PS4 sales are reported as sold-through, or purchased by consumers, while Xbox One sales are reported as sold-in, or sold to retailers.
Despite trailing PS4 by some 2 million units, Mehdi said global Xbox One sales are "outpacing Xbox 360 by more than 60 percent at the same point in time."
Well lets see how the next few months turn out, wild rumors is there just might be price war coming next by the time E3 rolls around, and don't forgot the underdog that launched a year early into this new battleground, they have started to squeeze in on both sides!
Trio charged with hacking, stealing from Microsoft
>> FBI raids three homes recently, arresting those trading in Xbox One Secrets
We reported before on SuperDAE story and his Xbox One devkit raids, but now the fallout from that has moved from Australia to state-side, with FBI rounding up three hackers, one of them from Canada
You might remember the SuperDAE stories from over a year ago, with him listing early Xbox One dev-kits up for sale on eBay, and then later him getting arrested, and threatening to release info which never happen, but now the FBI have rounded up some more 'hackers' that were trading in Xbox One devkits, and passing info among themselves.
One of people arrested in New Jersey is better known on many 'scene' forum sites like XboxHacker as 'SonicISO' and was originally the Admin behind the very popular E3-Forums for E3 Flasher and their ODE device before it was suddenly shutdown earlier this year.
A New Jersey man, a Wisconsin teen and a man from Canada are facing more than a dozen charges for allegedly breaking into computer systems and stealing sensitive information belonging to the U.S. Army and other companies, including Microsoft.
Obtained and partially published Thursday by The Smoking Gun, the indictment - still sealed, but filed in U.S. District Court in Delaware - charges Sanadodeh Nesheiwat, 28, from New Jersey; Nathan Leroux, 19, from Wisconsin, and Canadian resident David Pokora.
The men are alleged, beginning in 2011, to have begun a roughly two-year cyber crusade against video game companies, during which time they identified and exploited vulnerabilities in computer systems belonging to Microsoft, Valve Corporation, Activision Blizzard, Zombie Studios, and Epic Games, according to a report.
The Microsoft breach enabled the alleged attackers to steal information on the then unreleased Xbox One, according to published pages of the indictment, which explain that the perpetrators were able to use that data to build counterfeit versions of the console, including one that was sold on eBay for $5,000.
Intrusions into the computer systems of companies such as Epic Games and Activision Blizzard allowed the attackers to steal early copies of "Gears of War 3" and "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3," two blockbuster titles that had yet to be released at the time, according to the report.
Also, Apache helicopter pilot simulation software designed for the U.S. Army was stolen from Zombie Studios, a company commissioned by the American military organization to develop the chopper training program, the report added.
The men are facing 15 felony charges, including multiple counts of wire fraud, three counts of unauthorized computer access, two counts of copyright infringement, and one count each of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, conspiracy to commit theft of trade secrets, conspiracy to commit mail fraud, attempted mail fraud, conspiracy to commit identity theft, and aggravated identity theft.
The indictment was returned by a grand jury in July and Nesheiwat and Leroux were arrested at their respective homes last week, according to the report, which adds that the status of Pokora was undetermined at the time.
Microsoft invites you to attend the Atari E.T. landfill excavation on April 26
>> 'Witness Video Game History'.
We're all invited to the Atari E.T. landfill excavation later this month. 'Become a part of gamer history', Microsoft says...
Microsoft is inviting the public to attend the Atari Landfill excavation where a team will search for buried E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial video game, rumored to be buried in New Mexico.
The day-long excavation will take place on April 26, and spectators will be able watch as the "truth" comes out. This endeavor is being funded in part by Microsoft's Xbox Entertainment Studios as part of its new documentaries initiative, that will air first on Xbox consoles.
Here's the official info:
Become a part of gamer history. Unearth the truth behind the ultimate urban legend. We’re excited to announce that the excavation of the long-rumored “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” video game burial site will occur on April 26, 2014 and will be open to the public. Spectators are invited to watch the team uncover the infamous Atari game cartridge grave.
The Atari Corporation – faced with overwhelmingly negative response to the “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” video game – allegedly disposed of millions of unsold game cartridges by burying them in the small town of Alamogordo, New Mexico in 1983. Fuel Entertainment took an interest in the legend, and in December 2013, with help from local garbage contractor Joe Lewandowski, acquired the exclusive rights to excavate the Alamogordo landfill. Fuel Entertainment brought the opportunity to Xbox Entertainment Studios, and now, as part of a documentary series (developed by Xbox Entertainment Studios and two-time Academy Award® winning producer Simon Chinn and Emmy winning producer Jonathan Chinn, through their multi-platform media company, Lightbox), the team will excavate the legendary New Mexico landfill to reveal the true story of Atari’s bizarre burial.
Director Zak Penn (“X-Men 2,” “Avengers,” and “Incident at Loch Ness”) will be documenting the dig and the events around it. In addition to fans and media, a variety of people tied to the dig, video game, and film will be in attendance – including “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” video game designer Howard Scott Warshaw, a team of archeologists and representatives from Xbox Entertainment Studios, Lightbox and Fuel Entertainment. We hope you’ll join us as we get to the bottom of one of gaming’s biggest mysteries. A lucky handful of fans could even be interviewed for the film. Full details about the dig can be found below. See you in Alamogordo!
Alamogordo Landfill Excavation Details:
Saturday, April 26, 2014 9:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Microsoft shares new details on Xbox One April update
>> Plus, YouTube uploads coming to XB1 today!
New Xbox One features are coming this month: the console can now reboot itself after system updates, users will be able to play 50Hz Blu-ray discs, and direct YouTube uploads.
First, here is the trio of new Xbox One features that will pop-up in its upcoming April update (members currently beta testing the update will soon receive them):
We’re still working on our next Xbox One system update and have been receiving some really great feedback from members with early access. Tonight, I wanted to let you know we’re pushing a few more features to the members previewing new system updates that you may be hearing about. Here are a few details on those features.
Blu-ray player supports 50 Hz video output for content recorded at 50 Hz. We’ll also be updating the Blu-ray Player app in the coming days to round out these improvements.
Controller and headset adaptor firmware updates will reduce audio static and improve wireless connectivity.
Silent reboot after system updates and system update on demand now available. After this update, if your console is in Instant On mode, the update will happen automatically and return to standby upon completion. This means you won’t need to power on your console after an update moving forward. If you want to take future updates when available without waiting for your console to do it on its own, we’ve added this option under system settings. It will only show as available when there is an update to take.
We’re committed to delivering innovation through system updates, and on behalf of the Xbox team, I can’t say enough how integral fan feedback is to this process. Some features previewed won’t always make it to launch right away because we want to help ensure the best experience for our fans before pushing a new feature.
Also, these features may roll out over several days to this audience.
The engagement from our Xbox One community continues to be incredible, in large part thanks to the input and feedback from our fans. Select members far and wide that have been previewing system update features have been as generous with their time and input as we had hoped they would be. This feedback continues to help us make the future of Xbox One yours as much as ours.
So thank you to those who shared their thoughts with us and, hopefully, are having a little fun in the process.
We look forward to sharing news when our next Xbox One system update rolls out to the larger community.
Also, and if you didn't know, you'll be able to upload Xbox One gameplay directly to YouTube starting today!
Game DVR and Upload are among the most used apps on Xbox One. We know how important it is to be able to easily watch and share video clips, and starting tomorrow we’re rolling out an update to the YouTube app on Xbox One that integrates Game DVR and Upload with YouTube**, making it easier than ever to capture and share game clips with the world.
Now, use Game DVR to capture epic gaming moments, edit them in Upload Studio, and, with the simple click of a button inside the YouTube app (look for My Uploads**), share them instantly to your YouTube channel. The updated YouTube experience also allows you to watch YouTube videos in Snap Mode, earn Media Achievements, and adds YouTube channels to OneGuide for instant access to YouTube videos right next to your favorite TV listings or App Channels.
**In Settings, elect to “Share game clips” and “Share on social network”
The GoPro channel app launches today on Xbox 360 too. The full announcement is located HERE.
>> A new version of Dash Launch has been released to allow support for 360 kernel version 16747
This version also includes some additions and bug fixes.
default behaviour of live block is now to use strong block rules (at least until ini is loaded)
fix compatibility issues with dashes created before AP25 was deployed (spoof the AP functions on older versions)
limit fakelive/autofake to 14717+ kernels
add export so plugins can find out where they were loaded from during dllMain() (it's volatile, copy it in Main() if you need it!)
update 16547 patches to delay network bringup in xam until launch.xex loads
add trinity internal usb to hddkeepalive (for those that have a usb hdd hooked up there)
- *** WARNING ***
One of the testers observed a console reaching out to live despite liveblock only when fakelive or autofake was enabled. If you intend a keyvault to not get banned, do not use it on a glitch/jtag machine!
Autologin pop-up blob does not display properly... live with it.
Currently the project is missing the following supported translations:
Japanese, Korean, Chinese Simplified, Chinese traditional
The skin pack includes the sources used to skin dash launch as well as the string files if anyone wishes to create a translation to one of the above languages (including English, as I know my explanations are not always easy to understand.) Also included is a c# based editor for the string files to assist in translation.
External fonts, background image and skins may be used by this, simply place skin.xzp and/or font.ttf and/or background.png (1020x720) beside default.xex. If neither location has a font file supplied the system font on flash will be used.
It will launch a XeX or CON file from the path you specified in launch.ini as long as it's valid
Depending on the button you hold when the xbox is trying to load the NXE, it will divert to the xex/con tied to that button or return to default as defined in launch.ini
At boot time it is possible to subvert default item and/or NXE loading, but you must wait until the controller syncs to do so
Depending which button is held when closing miniblade in NXE (use Y button to close, release then hold a QL button) it will quick launch a CON or XEX from your ini file allows one to patch kernel/xam at bootup with a freeBOOT patch style bin file from usb or hdd (in that order) must be in root of the device and be named "kxam.patch" and be no larger than 0x4000 bytes.
Again, kxam.patch binary format is the same as a compiled freeboot patch bin, but uses real virtual addresses rather than offsets - as of 2.22 the first 32bit value must instead be the version of the kernel the patches apply to - with the included patch set,
launch.xex acts as a helper to detect when xbox1 emulator loads, allowing memory unlock patch and xbox1 emulator to function together
